Please be advised that there is a large water main break at the 6200 Block of Monroe Street.

WSSC has turned off water in the area of Monroe Street, Laurel Avenue, Montrose Road, and Landover Road by 62nd Avenue. Monroe Street is currently closed in the 6200 Block as well as the turn in from Landover Road. This section of the road will likely remain closed until WSSC has completed repairs. WSSC has a crew responding. WSSC also has a Customer Service Advocate responding to help with any claims for water damage.
