The Town of Cheverly and the Cheverly Police Department are proud to announce that Sergeant William Blount has graduated from the FBI National Academy.
Sergeant Blount completed the 296th session of the Academy, graduating on December 11, 2025, at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. This prestigious program is nationally and internationally recognized for its academic excellence in leadership, communication, and fitness training. Fewer than one percent of law enforcement officers nationwide are selected to attend.
Sergeant Blount’s achievement marks a historic milestone as he becomes the first officer in the history of the Cheverly Police Department to complete the FBI National Academy. His graduation reflects years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to professional excellence.
