Yes, we plant trees on residents' properties twice a year, Spring and Fall. There is a two-tree maximum per season.
Download the Tree Agreement Form (PDF). Drop off or mail the completed form to the Department of Public Works at 6401 Forest Road, Cheverly, MD 20785. You can email Natalie Cruz your completed form.

The Town of Cheverly does not handle animal control issues. This is a county function. Please contact Prince George's County Department of Animal Control Department.
- For carcass removal please call 301-780-7200.
- For live animals please call 877-463-6497.
- For reporting wildlife abnormal behavior call the Maryland DNR - Wildlife and Heritage Service at 410-260-8888.
- For potential rabies exposure contact the County Sheriff's Office at (301-780-8600).

Trash cans are available for purchase at your local home improvement stores, such as Lowe's, Home Depot, and Walmart. Please note that trash cans cannot exceed 32 gallons.
To request recycling bins/toters, rain barrels, or compost bins, please complete our online form to be added to the order list.
Please note: orders will only be placed once the minimum number of requests has been received.
