The Department of Public Works plans to resume collections tomorrow, weather permitting. 

The updated schedule for this week is as follows:

• Wednesday, January 8, 2025 – Townwide Recycling Collection

• Thursday, January 9, 2025 – Townwide Trash Collection

• Friday, January 10, 2025 – Townwide Yard Waste Collection

Due to the remaining snow, all backdoor pickups will be postponed until next week. We encourage residents with backdoor trash service to arrange for a neighbor or friend to bring their trash to the curb, if possible, for pickup.

To help with the restart of collections, bulk trash pickups will be moved to next week:

• Thursday, January 16, 2025 – East Side

• Friday, January 17, 2025 – West Side

Leaf collection dates will also be updated next week.

The Department of Public Works will make every effort to maintain this schedule. However, inclement weather is possible on Saturday, January 11, 2025. We will aim to complete the townwide sanitation collection before then and prepare equipment and crews for further winter weather events.
