Upcoming Changes to Bus Service in Cheverly
Effective June 29, 2025
- According to WMATA (Metro), Prince George’s County TheBus service will replace all Metrobus routes currently operating along Cheverly Avenue.
- As a result, the F8 and F13 routes will be renamed, with revised routes implemented.
- The Bus Route 18 will be renamed P43 and will become the only bus route operating through Cheverly Avenue.
- P22 route will begin at Cheverly Metro Station and travel via Tuxedo Road, Kenilworth Avenue, and MD-202. It will continue along Old Landover Road toward Walmart and then proceed along Annapolis Road to New Carrollton Metro Station and continue to Greenbelt Metro Station.
- P54, will also start at Cheverly Metro and travel to the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex, with its final destination (or origin, depending on direction) at Addison Road Metro Station.
