The Cheverly Camera Rebate Program

The Town of Cheverly and the Cheverly Police Department offer a Cheverly Camera Rebate Program. This program encourages residents to partner with the Cheverly Police Department by installing security cameras to deter crime and assist law enforcement with investigations by providing camera footage.

What is the rebate program?

Beginning December 15, 2023, the program offers up to a $50.00 rebate to Cheverly residents who provide receipts for a security camera and installation. Receipts for purchases dated on or after October 1, 2023, will be honored for reimbursement. The rebate is exclusively for the camera cost and any applicable tax.

Who is eligible?

Only residents of the Town of Cheverly are eligible. The rebate is for (1) camera only per (1) household or business.

Disclaimer

The Town of Cheverly, its agents, employees, and officials shall not be liable for any claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with participation in the Cheverly Camera Rebate Program (“the Program”) or the use of any camera for which a rebate has been received through the Program or for damage to or malfunction of such camera.

Participants will indemnify and hold the Town of Cheverly, its agents, employees, and officials harmless from and against all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, loss, expense, actions, or causes of action that they may incur, including attorneys’ fees, in connection with or as a result of participation in the Program or the installation or use of a camera for which a rebate has been received through the Program.

Participants waive, release, and discharge the Town of Cheverly, its agents, employees, and officials from all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, actions, or causes of action and all acts of negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Town of Cheverly, and/or its servants, agents, or employees, arising out of or in connection with participation in the Program.

The Town of Cheverly has offered no recommendations regarding which camera to purchase and has made no warranties, guarantees, or representations regarding the suitability or functionality of any such camera; the safety of participants or their property; or the ability of such camera to detect or diminish crime. The Town of Cheverly will not repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning cameras for which rebates have been provided.

The Cheverly Wheel Lock Rebate Program

The Town of Cheverly and the Cheverly Police Department are excited to introduce the Cheverly Wheel Lock Rebate Program. This program encourages residents to collaborate with the Cheverly Police Department by purchasing wheel lock kits to discourage the theft of vehicle tires.

What is the rebate program?

Beginning December 15, 2023, the program offers up to a $30.00 rebate to Cheverly residents who provide receipts for a wheel lock kit. Receipts for purchases dated on or after October 1, 2023, will be honored for reimbursement. The rebate is exclusively for the wheel lock kit cost and any applicable tax.

Who is eligible?

Only residents of the Town of Cheverly are eligible. The rebate is for (1) wheel lock kit per (1) household or business.
