Overview

The Board of Elections is responsible for the certification of candidates for town elections. They have the power to make and publish regulations regarding the conduct of such functions. The board shall act as judge and arbiter of all disputes and controversies arising from the administration of the town election laws. To assist them, the council shall appoint the necessary number of judges and clerks annually in January.
