Youth Town Council

The Cheverly Youth Town Council is a platform designed to empower youth within our community, allowing them to actively participate in local governance and contribute to decision-making processes. As members of the Council, youth will be collaborating with our Youth Coordinator to brainstorm ways to create a fun, stress-free environment that best benefits middle and high schoolers in Cheverly. We are looking for youth that can find time to meet once a month and have ideas for events, social media posts, and more! This is a paid position for someone interested in being involved. Although the Youth Coordinator will be there to help plan and guide, we want to hear directly from you all!

The Council serves as a bridge between the youth population and the Mayor and Council, providing a voice for high schoolers and young adults to address issues that directly affect them and their peers.
